In 2008, Dr. Rist founded Maritime Veterinary Imaging, a veterinary mobile ultrasound based in the Maritime Provinces of Canada. Maritime Veterinary Imaging ultrasonography services are provided to the veterinary hospitals of the Halifax Regional Municipality and adjacent regions on a monthly basis.
